You're talking to an AI
Warden is artificial intelligence. That includes its typed answers, its spoken voice in Whisper, and anything it writes, draws or does for you. It isn't a person, even when it sounds like one, remembers you or talks in a friendly way. It doesn't have feelings or a life of its own.
It can be wrong
Warden makes mistakes and can state wrong things confidently. Check anything important, especially health, legal, money and safety matters, with a qualified person or a reliable source. Warden isn't a doctor, lawyer, therapist or financial adviser.
If you're struggling
If you tell Warden you're thinking about hurting yourself or ending your life, it's designed not to help with that and to point you to people who can help. If you're in the United States, you can call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) at any time. If someone is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number. Outside the US, contact your local emergency services or a local crisis line. Warden is no substitute for real people and professional help.
Young people
Warden may not be suitable for some younger users. If you're under 18, use it with a parent's or guardian's permission, take regular breaks, and talk to someone you trust if something it says upsets you.
What Warden won't do on your computer without you
On my screen is built to stop and hand control back to you before it sends a message or email, posts or comments anything, buys or pays for anything, signs in, or deletes files. It never types passwords or card numbers. You can switch off what it may do on your computer in Settings → On my screen & Forge. To stop it instantly, move your mouse, press Esc or press Stop.
AI-made pictures, voices and video
Pictures, audio and video Warden makes are AI-generated. Where the law requires it, they carry a mark saying so. Don't remove it. Don't present AI-made images, voices or video of real people or events as real.
